The traditional MLM marketing plan rewards those who recruit the most people into their down line by paying out commissions in the form of fast start bonuses and other incentives. There is nothing wrong with that except that very few are successful at it.

Only about 5% of those who get involved with the traditional type of MLM marketing structure ever make a significant income. The remaining 95% make very little if anything and eventually drop out. There are always those that are good at recruiting that make the fast start bonus and other incentives from those they are able to recruit, while the majority of those they recruit are unable to duplicate the process for themselves.

Until recently there has not been an automated system designed to do more than give lip service to helping people struggling to succeed with MLM compensation plans. Of course those making the money always encouraged their down lines. They have tried to motivate them by providing motivational speakers and materials, some even went so far as to actually give away a referral now and then. But, there was not a marketing system in place designed to give away people and money into the down lines of those struggling to earn a substantial income.
