That is a sound of music to my ears. Why? I worked MLM Leads for nearly 8 years, and had great success with them. That is why that I have a pretty good understanding of what really makes a good MLM Lead, and what does not.

In the pursuit of finding these top 15 Network Marketing Lead companies, there were some requirements and considerations that went into the mix. An MLM lead is only part of the MLM Lead Success Formula. There were 5 things that we looked at when we were considering MLM Lead Companies.

What are they?

1) Quality of the MLM lead.

Quality of lead is everything. There are some great looking websites out there that look totally rocking, but we found that the quality of leads when we called them, were less than what you should expect in an MLM lead.

Beautiful site, great looking logo, lousy leads.

That is why we actually had people order leads, and we called them. We called more than one bunch of leads as well. This at least would give us a feeling of consistency or lack of it. The MLM Lead companies we chose were highly consistent in quality of lead, and people who truly were looking for a business. It took us 7 months to complete the research on MLM leads.

2) Training of working the MLM Leads.

Many of the beautiful sites offered no type of ongoing training, and that was something that really needs to be be a part of any good MLM leads programs. There were some that had online training, as well as cds and training series you could purchase. That was good, but the ongoing live training was the best idea, and we found many MLM leads Companies that did just that.

Training also includes scripts, handling objections, presentation, following up, closing, and other MLM leads topics. There are some HOT MLM leads sites out there that truly delivered on this quality of MLM leads training.

3) MLM Leads Support.

The support factor was key. Once the MLM leads were purchased, was there somehow support in case of need? Most had email support, some had live phone support, and some had live instant message support. There were sites that offered no support, and if you had a challenge with your MLM leads, then good luck.

The support should be somehow resolving issues that arise, including bad mlm leads, wrong numbers or emails, and general problems. The MLM Leads companies we found that were the best, had a support system. And some type of guarantee also should be part of the network marketing lead program.

4) Targeted MLM leads.

Many companies had different types of targeted mlm leads, including company specific, live tv leads, local leads, gender specific, product specific, area code specific, among others. 5) Pricing of the MLM leads.

This was a huge factor in determining many people's decision to buy. But to be blunt, you get what you pay for. There are many cheap network marketing home business lead companies with cheap leads, but here is a warning:

Be careful. You get what you pay for.

Ask if you can try maybe 15-20 leads to see if they are worth the money. Many companies give free network marketing leads away to try.

Understand that a great MLM lead may cost you several dollars, and rightfully so.

Multi-Level Marketing is all about talking to people, as many people as possible. Buying MLM Leads can be your short cut to success.

There is no way that you and everyone you sponsor personally know thousands of people. Sure, maybe you have a personal contact list of over 500 people, but the only way your business will expand the way you want it to is if every member of your downline also has a large personal contact list. Offer content which will be interesting or useful to visitors.

One thing that will net you more connections is having content which informs or entertains. Good content, the kind that holds people’s attention will get you free word-of-mouth (or perhaps word-of-mouse, these days) advertising.

Content which offers something to readers is in high demand on social networking sites in particular and the web in general. Content is what people go to the internet for in the first place. If you want to drive traffic to your site (and who doesn’t?) then make yourself an attraction to social media users by giving them irresistible content.

Make your content useful.

Original and interesting content is a start, but your target viewers need a way to find this content. If you can be found quickly, you’re much more likely to reach a large audience. If you have articles as part of your content, make sure that they are search engine optimized so that they can easily be found by a search engine.

Make your web presence larger.

Did you have a hit with one article? Did this drive more traffic to your site? Don’t stop with one and rest on your laurels. You can build an audience by frequently adding new content to social media sites. Make sure people see you as a source of consistently great content.

If you do this, you will generate buzz every time you submit new content. Once you’ve established yourself as a known quantity on the social media scene, your target audience will visit your site more often and even seek your site out for its own sake.

Promote your site and your content. Build a brand.

Always, always, always promote yourself. When you have new content available, send out email to your target audience informing them of it. Mention new content in articles you submit, your podcast (if you do one) – anywhere you can promote your content, do it! One word of caution though: do this with tact. Encourage communication.

While people like the relative anonymity of the web, they also enjoy communicating with others from the online world. Give them a way to do that – surveys, feedback forms, comment forms, even forums will be appreciated by visitors to your site.

Social media as a method of driving traffic to a site can take a lot of work. If done properly, however, it can be a very cheap way of brand building and generally making people aware of a website. Social media can be a great resource for promotion; don’t be afraid to explore its possibilities for your website.

I know of many people who have used CEM's magazines rather successfully to build their business.  To advertise on your own… it's not cheap.  I'd stick with quality mlm leads if you're going to do that.  But, if you can get 3 – 10 people together, it can be worth it.  I would highly suggest committing to 3 – 6 months of advertising.  While I am not a print media expert, I do know that when prospects see your ad over and over again, issue after issue, it makes a big difference.

It's good for you.  It's good for our industry.  And, when it all boils down… compared to other magazines out there, this is cheap advertising.

Jake said the $100 discount is for a limited time.  I'm not sure if that means one more week or what, but it is limited.

Phone Verified Leads – Leads that are generated through an autodialer.  The computerized autodialer calls through older and cheaper leads.  When the person answers the phone, a touch-tone phone interview is conducted where the person punches certain numbers on their phone to answer a few questions.  Autodialer interviews typically last about 1 minute.

Telephone Interviewed Leads – Leads that are called by a real person in a telemarketing call center.  They are interviewed, qualified, and sorted by a real person.  Live telephone interviews can last 5 – 10 minutes.

I would suspect that 95% of all websites that sell telephone interviewed leads are actually selling phone verified leads.  It is quite likely the leads company selling the site doesn't know they are selling verified leads because they are only a reseller anyway.

If you are buying verified leads, that is fine.  It is a good lead.  But, if you are thinking you are actually buying an interviewed lead, then you're being deceived.  Here are a few things you can use to tell the difference:

1. If you order 50 interviewed leads, and they all get delivered in about 2 hours, then they are verified leads.  Real interviewed leads could not be generated that quickly.
2. If you are paying less than $5.00/lead for a real time interviewed lead, then it is a verified lead.  A geniune interviewed lead could not be sold for less.  We see telephone interviewed leads being sold for $2 – $3/lead.  We've tested them. They are verified, not interviewed.
3. A prospect who has been interviewed by a real person will remember being interviewed.  They will probably remember the name of the person who interviewed them.  A verified lead may not remember because someone else in the house may have taken the computerized touch tone survey.
4. A real telephone interviewed lead will have a higher conversion rate…. maybe one or two out of 10 leads.  A verified lead will probably have a conversion rate of one out of 35 or 50 leads.

I hope this helps.  If you're buying verified leads, that's fine, if that is what you intend to buy.  If you want interviewed leads, expect to pay more, but expect a much higher quality lead.

1. They are self-serving and can only think of themselves
2. They want you to buy from them, thus making another profit stream for them.
3. They are into the "shock" headline so you will check them out.

There are a couple of people who even advertise on this site who say you don't need leads.  But, let's deal with this just a bit

First, network marketing is about TEAM.  Not everyone is a search engine wizard.  Not everyone knows how to run these online campaigns.  Not everyone wants to go learn some new technology or method so they can generate a few leads for themselves.  So, for the person to say "You don't need leads" is the kind of person who needs to broaden their thinking to the whole team.  It's okay to generate your own leads, but some people aren't going to be able to go there.

Second, what if you could spend 100% of your time building your business instead of 50% of your time generating leads and 50% of your time building your business.  Let those who produce MLM leads do that for you so you can devote your full attention to your business.  That's just smart business.  McDonalds doesn't have a bakery in the back room making their buns.  They buy from local bread makers so they can contrate on the rest of their business.

Third, learning to generate leads on your own can be (and most likely will be) very expensive.  Don't believe all those programs where they say you need to generate your own, it's easy and it's cheap.  Most people who begin to generate their own leads realize that by the time one lead is generated, they may have spent $15 – $25 for that one lead.  We've talked to people who say they've spent nearly $100 for one lead.

Listen, if you know how to generate your own.. that's great.  Do it, and do it a lot.  But, encourage your team to buy leads from good MLM companies so they can have resources open to them to have enough leads to build their business.  You may be holding back your growth and your team's growth by trying to get them into some lead generation program they have no reason to be in to begin with.

Of those, there are at least 3 types:

1. Real Time
2. Fresh
3. Aged

There are many other varients, such as local leads, female only, international, etc. So, when you begin to combine several of the features together, you can literally get dozens and dozens of different types of leads.

So, what lead seems to be the most popular? And what do I mean by popular? I define popular as the type of lead that a customer reorders and refers others to use as well. If a customer continues to reorder a particular type of lead, AND they are referring others to use as well (their upline and downline), it is because they are getting consistent results.

As we have surveyed several different leads companies, the #1 lead that continues to get reordered and referred is the Real Time Telephone Interviewed Lead. Most RTTI leads can be found for under $4.00 per lead. Lead per lead, these leads seem to produce the best, according to the reorder and referral rate.

The #2 lead was Real Time Surveyed Local Leads. People like to build in their own backyard.

The #3 was the Real Time Surveyed Lead. People like real time leads.

While no lead is perfect, there is something to learn from this survery. I would say… don't be cheap. Those leads you get for 5 cents each are not worth it. A person buys $75 worth of 5 cent leads so they can email blast and load their auto dialer. Another person buys $85 for 25 Real Time Phone Interviewed leads. The first is frustrated and non-duplicatible. The second is getting results and is duplicatible.
