Great prices.  They have some of the best prices for their leads

Negative:

The leads are horrible as a whole. So, despite the good prices, the bottom line is that the money you save is not worth the cost.  Here are some comments about these leads:

"I sold their leads a long time ago when they were MLMLeadGenie.  I thought I would try them again as MLMLeadSpecialist.  What a mistake.  It has been nothing but a mistake.  I have not had this much damage control to do from the customers that have bought these leads from me." ~ Anonymous Reseller

While I don' t really want to put down a leads company, it is amazing the number of negative feedback emails we have received. I would like to post something positive, but we never received any.

The purpose of this blog post is not to bash MLMLeadSpecialists, but to make our readers aware of what other customers are saying.

Today, most lead companies have some kind of a referral bonus… hey we'll send you some free leads if you refer someone.  That's nice, but I'd still rather have cash over leads… or both for that matter.

There are a couple of them out there, and I do understand that it's not about getting wealthy off of a leads affiliate program, but I do intend to make at least $300-$500 per month with the Pro Email Leads affiliate program.  Here's their banner. Just sign up for free and start promoting their leads.  It is a 2-tier affiliate program.  If you get 5 – 10 people a month who buy leads through your link, or if they are on your first or second tier, it won't be hard to make a nice bit of money with their 30% payout.

While it is certainly no ProStep (RIP), it is a decent way to make a few extra bucks.  This may be one of the better kept secrets out there. Check it out while it's still not flooded with affiliates.

Top 10 MLM Lead Companies

We try and keep that list up to date based upon some of the following criteria:

1. User Feedback – you write us and let us know anything that has been good, bad, horrible, or outstanding.  Just click on the Contact Form above to send us any feedback on a leads company you would like us to know about.
2. Company Websites – Some companies have websites that look like they were designed in the 70's, long before the internet was around.  Basically we're looking for up to date information, lead details, and a sense that someone is running the business who has a moderate level of responsibility
3. Customer Service – I like to call up lead companies to see what kind of customer service they have.  Some have zero.  Some are pretty good.
4. Sales People – Am I buying a used car or am I speaking to someone who would actually be a partner in business.  Some people you speak to you would think you are speaking to a snake.
5. Length of Business – Some companies are just too new to make the cut… because we don't know much about them.  They could have been another leads company, but just changed names to hide their identity.

While I don't have an answer for all of the details, in so many words the answer is yes.  Lead companies that were resellers for MLMLeadGenie.com received an email in mid-2009 that they should now begin buying their leads to resell from MLMLeadSpecialists.  Nothing really seemed to look or smell different… just seems to be the same leads with a different company name.

MLMLeadGenie has been around for many years and they have good relationships with a lot of MLM companies and top distributors within those companies to supply leads for their teams.  You don't last as long as they have by delivering a bunch of crappy leads.

With that said… Lead Genie is probably one of the companies that receives more complaints about the poor quality of their leads than any other company that we get reports on.  So, I'm not exactly sure what does keep them in business.  For every one good comment, I get nine bad ones.

Some people complain just to complain. In many cases, I could take a list of leads that one person complained about, give it to a more experienced, seasoned networker, and he/she could get some results out of it.  But, when the complaints keep coming, there might be a pattern forming.

MLMLeadSpecialists/MLMLeadGenie have some of the best prices of any leads company out there.  I really believe they are worth testing.  Go buy 100 of their leads and test the numbers out for yourself.  It's the only way you'll ever know.  If you get results, then you may have just found a cheaper MLM lead than what you had been buying.  Or, you may have just realized it's time to move on.

That's true for any leads company.  Just don't expect miracles with any lead. Get the training you need and what used to be a poor list, may begin to convert for you.

Let me qualify this.  I actually receive many more people reporting to me, but some of their comments are such a joke, they have no business buying leads to begin with.  For example, I got an email from a guy last week slandering a leads company.  He had bought email leads and was upset because they weren't quality phone leads.  Save your breath.

I'm talking about real network marketers buying real MLM leads to build their business.  I'm not talking about people buying 10 leads for a penny and expecting gold to come pouring forth.

So, to the topic at hand – LeadPower.com

Lead Power has been around a while, and the quality of their leads has fluctuated.  I had received about 4 or 5 emails over the first half of the year that they were "okay."  That was about it.  Nothing great, nothing bad.  Some good results, some zero results.

However, since the first of November, I have received over 20 emails about how horrible the quality of leads has been.  So called "interviewed" leads were a complete joke, way oversold, never verified, angry people (notice I didn't say prospects), and probably worse than the email leads the guy I just mentioned was calling. 

The funny thing was, it wasn't just a couple people.  4 0r 5 emails through the first 10 months this year.  20+ emails in the last month.  And, the people who are emailing me are a bit "passionate" about how upset they are with Lead Power.  These leads are "Putrid!!"  That is a direct quote from one of my readers.

So, buy with caution for now.  Things change.  Like I said, their lead quality has been inconsistent… it's just this has been much worse than normal.  Another thing to beware of.  Lead Power has a reseller program and they aren't afraid to use it.  They are reselling their leads to other lead companies to resell the same bad leads through other companies.

(**Disclaimer** – The quality of the leads is not reflected upon the employees of the company.  Do not call up LP and yell at their staff or whomever else.  It's a waste of your breath, and nothing short of unprofessional.  They are just workers, so treat them with decency and respect.)

I asked what that meant, and he basically said that he has been working on making it easier to navigate, find the leads that are right for you, and then purchasing your leads.  One of the issues in the past, according to Rich, has been that there were too many links to click and it could be somewhat confusing for a first-time visitor.

Anyway, I just wanted to pass that along.  Be looking for the new design coming soon.  Below is a sneak peek at what it's gonna look like.  The top will look slightly different from what Rich says, but you get a good idea.

That is a sound of music to my ears. Why? I worked MLM Leads for nearly 8 years, and had great success with them. That is why that I have a pretty good understanding of what really makes a good MLM Lead, and what does not.

In the pursuit of finding these top 15 Network Marketing Lead companies, there were some requirements and considerations that went into the mix. An MLM lead is only part of the MLM Lead Success Formula. There were 5 things that we looked at when we were considering MLM Lead Companies.

What are they?

1) Quality of the MLM lead.

Quality of lead is everything. There are some great looking websites out there that look totally rocking, but we found that the quality of leads when we called them, were less than what you should expect in an MLM lead.

That is why we actually had people order leads, and we called them. We called more than one bunch of leads as well. This at least would give us a feeling of consistency or lack of it. The MLM Lead companies we chose were highly consistent in quality of lead, and people who truly were looking for a business. It took us 7 months to complete the research on MLM leads.

2) Training of working the MLM Leads.

Many of the beautiful sites offered no type of ongoing training, and that was something that really needs to be be a part of any good MLM leads programs. There were some that had online training, as well as cds and training series you could purchase. That was good, but the ongoing live training was the best idea, and we found many MLM leads Companies that did just that.

Training also includes scripts, handling objections, presentation, following up, closing, and other MLM leads topics. There are some HOT MLM leads sites out there that truly delivered on this quality of MLM leads training.

3) MLM Leads Support.

The support factor was key. Once the MLM leads were purchased, was there somehow support in case of need? Most had email support, some had live phone support, and some had live instant message support. There were sites that offered no support, and if you had a challenge with your MLM leads, then good luck.

The support should be somehow resolving issues that arise, including bad mlm leads, wrong numbers or emails, and general problems. The MLM Leads companies we found that were the best, had a support system. And some type of guarantee also should be part of the network marketing lead program.

4) Targeted MLM leads.

Many companies had different types of targeted mlm leads, including company specific, live tv leads, local leads, gender specific, product specific, area code specific, among others. Targeted mlm leads are the favorite of the Networkers I talked to, as it gives people a more focused lead, and a more targeted impact.

5) Pricing of the MLM leads.

This was a huge factor in determining many people's decision to buy. But to be blunt, you get what you pay for. There are many cheap network marketing home business lead companies with cheap leads, but here is a warning:

Be careful. You get what you pay for.

Ask if you can try maybe 15-20 leads to see if they are worth the money. Many companies give free network marketing leads away to try.

Understand that a great MLM lead may cost you several dollars, and rightfully so.

And of course, REPUTATION had a lot to do with the selection as well. Some companies that came across really well, when checked on, did not have a very good reputation for MLM Leads and service.

Don't get me wrong, going it alone is still okay but the problem for many is they lack the skills needed to build a network marketing business. Skills such as sales, recruiting, prospecting and training are taken for granted by successful MLMers but the reality is, the majority just don't know how to put these skills into practice. - How old is the company? If they are just starting off then be very careful. If they have been around for at least five years and showing steady growth then they come under consideration.

- Have a look at the management structure of a new company. How solid is it? More importantly, do they have the financial resources to survive the initial start up period and settling in phase? This is so important because the reason why many companies go under is a lack of capital.

- Who is running the company? We mentioned the management structure and this is another vital area. If those at the top of the company management system are proven in the industry such as having had success with other top network marketing companies, then this is a definite plus.

- If you are joining the industry to build a very large income then joining network marketing companies which have been around for 20,30 or 40 years may not be a good option. Sure, these are great companies but they have experienced their major growth boom and it would be difficult to experience fast personal business growth within such a structure.

Before you decide to simply join the best MLM company just ask yourself whether your growth curve can be achieved in quicker time than with a promising new player on the scene.

The network marketing lies may have not been what the industry needed at the time given it's reputation for high failure rates but the fact is, something needed to be said and networkers needed to realize that the reason they were struggling may have had nothing to do with the way they were operating their business but more with the system they were being asked to use.

7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing

So what are the MLM lies we are talking about? Here are some and see if these are familiar…in other words, can you identify with them?

- anyone can do this business
- we'll build your business for you
- you don't have enough belief
- this isn't sales and we just share products
- everyone is your prospect

Do any of these resonate with you? They should because these are some of the things pitched to prospects before joining a business and the truth is, they have hurt the industry and a strong reason why network marketing is "on the nose" for many people who have tried it.

For example, the biggest of all network marketing lies is undoubtedly "everyone is your prospect."

This old school tactic has been taught to new prospects since day one and while it may have been pertinent even up to ten years ago, today, with resources such as the internet to attract targeted and genuine prospects, it just doesn't apply anymore.

It starts with a person making a list and making assumptions about who would be suited to a business opportunity and who needs it. It's not really businesslike is it and after all, network marketing is a business.

You see, not everyone wants to get into a business. Some will be happy with their lot in life, their job or just lounging around and nothing you say or do will convince them otherwise. And that's the whole crux of this issue…convincing.

You don't have to convince someone they need your business opportunity. Once you do that, you'll be forever going into damage control trying to convince them they should stay committed and success will come.

When you start doing this, it's no longer a matter of what your prospect wants but what you want and unless someone is genuinely hell bent on doing something, then there's nothing you can do to change their mind.

It's one of the greatest multi level marketing lies and believe me, adopting a more realistic attraction marketing based process will get you more results than you could have ever dreamed of.

Since there are literally thousands of different MLM Leads companies to choose from it becomes stressful over which one will actually benefit you the most and give you the best opportunity of building your downline.  You will find a variety of difference reasons why certain people choose the ones they do, but a few basic areas are things everyone should look into more.  If you can find a company that has all of the following you will be well on your way to finding the next company you want to work with continuously.

Reputable business -  The most important thing when doing business with another company especially one providing MLM leads is to find out how well their reputation stacks up against others.  Even though this can be a tedious process since there are several companies out there, you will find in the end that it was well worth the investigating.  If you come across a company that has been in business for 2 months compared to one that has been around for 10 years which one are you going to lean towards?  The latter most likely, but what if the the 10 year old company has had nothing but continuous complaints and the younger one doesn't have a blemish, then who do you choose?  Either way you never would have known unless you did the research. 

Customer Service -  This is just important especially in the beginning because most likely you will be unaware how their company works for MLM leads, what avenues to take, and you will need some helping hands along the way.  People that will not only steer you in the right direction, but do it in a friendly manner as well.  If you can find both of those and a customer service desk that is available at all hours or at least the ones you will be working with them then you've found yourself a winner.

This is my personal belief… for the most part a lead is a lead… at least from the point at which the lead was generated.  If all companies sold their leads twice and only to customers (and not other resellers who will again sell them again), then there really wouldn't be much difference at all.  I would get approximately the same results no matter who I bought the lead from.

The problem is that most companies (emphasis on "most") do not sell their leads just two times.  Many of them sell their leads 3-5 times, and then also to other resellers.  Even so, you can still recruit from leads that have been over sold, but no one likes to spend $100 for leads only to have the prospect angry and beaten up by your competition.

Another thing that makes network marketing lead companies different is their customer service.  Some leads companies are very rude, almost bothered by the fact that you are disturbing them by ordering leads.  Other companies offer extras and make you feel appreciated.

I don't like to complicate things, but this is what I would do.  Find one or two companies that do not sell their leads more than twice that has great customer service.  If you've found that, refer your upline and downline to use the same service and you will begin to get consistent results.  If you've found one or two of those companies, you've found something special.  Stick with it and the leads company will take care of you.  They like your repeat business and they'll begin to reward you for it.
